Abstract. Ten species of water beetles are recorded for the first time from Uzbekistan: Helophoridae (Helophorus lapponicus C.G. Thomson, 1854, H. syriacus Küwert, 1885), Hydrophilidae (Berosus fulvus Küwert, 1888, B. bispina Reiche et Saulcy, 1856, Paracymus aeneus (Germar, 1824), Enochrus melanocephalus (Olivier, 1792), E. fuscipennis

C.G. Thomson, 1844, Cercyon quisquilius (Linnaeus, 1761)) and Heteroceridae (Heterocerus fusculus Kiesenwetter, 1843, H. obsoletus Curtis, 1828). The presence of Augyles turanicus (Reitter, 1887) in Uzbekistan is confirmed.

Резюме. Впервые для Узбекистана указываются

10 видов водных жесткокрылых из семейств Helophoridae (Helophorus lapponicus C.G. Thomson, 1854,

H. syriacus Küwert, 1885), Hydrophilidae (Berosus fulvus Küwert, 1888, B. bispina Reiche et Saulcy, 1856, Paracymus aeneus (Germar, 1824), Enochrus melanocephalus (Olivier, 1792), E. fuscipennis C.G. Thomson, 1844, Cercyon quisquilius (Linnaeus, 1761)) и Heteroceridae (Heterocerus fusculus Kiesenwetter, 1843, H. obsoletus Curtis, 1828). Подтверждено обитание Augyles turanicus (Reitter, 1887) в Узбекистане.

A total of 9 species of water beetles of the families Helophoridae, Hydrophilidae and Heteroceridae previously not recorded in Uzekistan [Mascagni, 2006; Fikáček et al., 2015a, b] were collected by Ya.N. Kovalenko and D.V. Potanin using mercury-vapour lamp and by hand during the Russian-Uzbek Entomological Expedition of 2014 [Anufriev, Rakhimov, 2015]. The material is stored in the collections of Ya.N. Kovalenko (Moscow, Russia) and A.S. Sazhnev (Saratov, Russia). The record of Heterocerus fusculus Kiesenwetter, 1843, which is also new for Uzbekistan, is based on specimens collected by

A.V. Kompantsev (stored in the Moscow State Pedagogical

University). The presence of Augyles turanicus (Reitter, 1887) in Uzbekistan is confirmed by records of new material.

The material was collected in 3 localities:

Urtabulak, 38°5721.0N / 64°3219.6E, Qashqadaryo Region, Mirishkor District, environs of Urtabulak mine, salt marsh and ephedra sand desert, ca. 315 m a.s.l., 14.04.2014; Sentob, 40°3748.51N / 66°4042.29E, Navoiy Region, Nurota District, Nuratau Mts., environs of Sentob,

ca. 570 m a.s.l., 17.04.2014;

Uchkizil, 37°2136.8N / 67°1605.6E, Surxondaryo Region, Termiz District, 3 km SE Uchkizil, Peski Kattakum, sand desert, ca. 320 m a.s.l., 19.04.2014.
