Caucasian Entomological Bulletin (CEB) (print-ISSN 1814-3326; online-ISSN 2713-1785)
is an international, peer reviewed open-access, scientific journal. CEB publishes original review papers, research papers and short communications on different aspects of entomology, as well as book reviews. Also the journal publishes papers on Arachnida and Entognatha, but following an agreement with the editor in chief. Faunistic short communications and regional check-lists are published selectively, in case of important information for a wide range of readers.
The journal welcomes studies incorporating systematics, taxonomy, morphology, morphological and molecular phylogenetics, biogeography, paleobiology, evolution and fauna of insects, especially of arid and mountain regions of the Northern Hemisphere.
CEB is an open access journal under Creative Common licence CC BY-NC. It means that it is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
This journal does not charge APCs or submission charges.
Since 2020 PDFs with final pagination are first published on-line, and twice a year compiled as a printed issues within one volume and supplements. All papers with taxonomic information are registered in the Official Register of Zoological Nomenclature (ZooBank) and issues of the journal are archived in eLibrary and Zenodo (according to the amendment of Articles 8, 9, 10, 21 and 78 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, 2012: https://www.iczn.org/the-code/electronic-publication-made-available-with-amendment-to-the-code/
). Thus, all nomenclature acts published in Caucasian Entomological Bulletin become valid immediately after the online publication.
